Comicdom #3 rare original .1964. Ditto fanzine rare comic book market hi grade
Issue: 3 / YEAR: November 1964
Condition: VF
The noteworthy front cover features the original captain marvel flying in two color ditto, it is quite a remembrance of the early days of comic book fandom. The interior includes contributions by, and/or stories about, siegel & shuster's funnyman, a pulp-style text tale, a report on the current state of the rare comic book market (almost half a century ago!) , and more. The size is approximately 8.5" x 11". The old fanzines of this era are generally very rare today. They provide an amazing insight into what comic books fans were thinking and feeling, when the highest price ever paid for a single comic book was in the $100. Or less range - not the more than $1,000,000. That has been paid more recently! Hold in your own hands the same exact original magazine that those who collected comic books in the early days held. Condition is extremely nice. Like many of the fanzines of the era, the back cover was used as the mailing label. Due to some extremely slight wear from minor handling decades ago, we grade it a superb very fine. Scans: we are providing large scans so everyone can see how nice this is. On the back cover scan, which includes the name of the original buyer from over forty years ago, we have covered the name for privacy purposes - we are not hiding any flaws, just respecting a person's privacy. Have you or anyone you know ever seen an example of this rare comic book fanzine? This may be the only opportunity you ever have to acquire this rare item.
