Following guidelines from the most current Overstreet Guide to Grading Comics, we grade this as FN- (5.5). This item is an average to above average item that shows moderate wear. Eye appeal is somewhat reduced because of accumulation of defects. The item is still desirable and looks like it has been handled with some care. A moderate accumulation of bindery or printing defects is allowed. Minor wear is apparent on the cover/exterior, with minor to moderate creases. Inks show a significant reduction in reflectivity. Blunted corners are more common, as is minor staining, soiling, discoloration, and/or minor spotting (foxing). Penciled, stamped, or inked arrival dates may be present. A minor spine roll is allowed. There can also be a 1/4” spine split or sever color break in the spine. Staples show minor discoloration. Minor staple tears and a few slight stress lines may be present, as well as minor rust migration. The paper is dark tan to light brown and fairly supple with no sign of brittleness. No hint of acidity in the odor of the newsprint. No interior autographs or owner signatures. Centerfold may be loose but not detached. Any minor interior tears are in the margin.
