*    The time has come for me to start selling my treasured High Grade Captain America collection. As a long life long collector of high grade comic books I completed this Captain America Run, Yes ALL 454 issues. It took me a little over 10 years to complete the entire run in the higher grades I was looking for. Some were cracked out from CGC / CBCS slabs. I currently do have a CBCS 8.5 Captain America #100 Listed on Hip. I will be listing the books as time allows.

  First Sign Part 1 of 4. "I'll Take Manhattan" Script by Mark Waid. Pencils by Ron Garney and Sandu Florea. Inks by Denis Rodier, Scott Koblish, and Sandu Florea. Cover by Carlos Pacheco and Scott Koblish. Steve Rogers and Sharon Carter storm the SHIELD Helicarrier to learn why they were intentionally kept apart for years! But to their dismay Nick Fury is dead; and Contessa Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine is in charge now! After a testy exchange with the Contessa, Cap and the former Agent 13 leave the Helicarrier and begin walking toward Brooklyn! However while they're strolling across the bridge, a powerful force field drops over the entire island of Manhattan! And suddenly separated from Sharon, Cap rushes back to Manhattan and tries to restore order! But the Sentinel of Liberty is ambushed by the Zodiac! The star-spangled avenger hasn't tangled with this astral group in a quite a while! And he needs to find allies! Is the god of thunder home tonight? Story continues in Thor 496. Cameo appearances by Jarvis, Thor, and the Enchantress. (Note: This story was reprinted in 2013 in the trade paperback: Avengers Iron Man First Sign.) 32 pages.

  Up for your review is this nice looking Captain America #449 issue from the original 1968 Marvel 1st series. This is one of the final issues in the 455 issue series. The book is in great condition, It exhibits Like New quality with Very minimal wear, mainly a few tiny spine ticks.  The book has a perfect cover wrap along with original color & gloss giving it outstanding eye appeal. The interior is flawless with white page quality. I believe the book is at least an 8.5 VFN+ or better with any grading company out here.
