As a 40 year serious collector I have acquired a vast inventory of most major Marvel and DC titles, as well as many Independents, Graphic Novels, Trades and hard Cover books. I believe my grading to be conservative and based on one THING, Can the book pull the said grade from Third Party Graders Like CGC, and CBCS. Ive submitted many books for grading and I have also cracked out plenty of CGC and CBCS books for my personal collection over the years. The time has come for me to start selling my treasured High Grade Captain America collection. It took me a little over 10 years to complete the entire run in the higher grades I was looking for (Yes ALL 454 Issues). Some were cracked out from CGC / CBCS slabs. I will be listing more high grade Silver Age Cap books as time allows.

All the books I will be listing are Original unaltered books. None have ever been pressed or altered in any way.

The King returns to Marvel as Jack Kirby takes the reins of the Captain America title for the U.S.A.'s bicentennial year! Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson are visiting Leila Taylor's apartment in the Bronx when they hear a ruckus outside! The people in the streets are going crazy and destroying everything in sight! What is happening? Cap immediately leaps into action and engages the insane rioters! After taking several blows, the shield-slinger spots a strange device in the alleyway. It's a small madbomb! But not the big Madbomb! Once order is restored a SHIELD agent takes the Sentinel of Liberty and his partner to a secret base to meet Secretary of State Henry Kissinger. * There are moments through out comic book history that hold special historical meaning, none more special than the legendary return of Jack Kirby to the Captain America title in January 1976 here in Issue #193. Kirby's 2-Year run on the Title would prove to be the pinnacle of his career! Stay tuned as I will be listing all of the issues in this legendary Jack Kirby Run.

As for the debut Issue #193 being offered here? A Great looking book with Nice Original cover and gloss with some minimal wear, mainly a few small spine ticks and a couple light print lines. The book has a perfect cover wrap giving it outstanding eye appeal. The interior is complete with flawless page quality and NO: Cut-Outs, Writing, creases, etc...Another tough call on this one. At first glance I was thinking an 8.5, maybe even 9.0 on the book, but a little edge wear on the back kept me in the 8.0 grade range. One thing is for sure.... Its a very nice looking book that would be a great addition to any comic book collection.
