Item Description
As a 40 year serious collector I have acquired a vast inventory of most major Marvel and DC titles, as well as many Independents, Graphic Novels, Trades and hard Cover books. I believe my grading to be conservative and based on one THING, Can the book pull the said grade from Third Party Graders Like CGC, and CBCS. Ive submitted many books for grading and I have also cracked out plenty of CGC and CBCS books for my personal collection over the years. I will securely and promptly ship all orders and will be more than happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I will continue adding more comics, cards and books to my store here. Thank You for stopping by for a look.Ive been an Hip member since 1999 and a Top Rated Hip seller with 100% Positive Feedback for over a decade.The time has come for me to start selling my treasured High Grade Captain America collection. It took me a little over 10 years to complete the entire run in the higher grades I was looking for (Yes ALL 454 Issues). Some were cracked out from CGC / CBCS slabs. I will be listing more high grade Silver Age Cap books as time allows.
All the books I will be listing are Original unaltered books. None have ever been pressed or altered in any way.
I have been a long term seller of Comic Books and other collectables for over 20 Years and Hip Comic for the past 5 years. Please check my feedback.
My goal is a Smooth transaction with serious buyers looking to add higher grade Silver Age books to the collections.

* Welcome back to another Awesome looking issue from my Captain America Comic book run! This Classic Bronze Age book exhibits Original Like New Cover Color and gloss with VERY minimal to no wear(No Creases), mainly a few tiny spine ticks and some minor wear on right edge. With a super nice cover wrap and clean tight staples the book has outstanding eye appeal. The interior is complete with nice page quality, NO: Cut-Outs, Writing, stains etc.. (Last page has Comic Kingdom Store Stamp) see History below
It was a tough call on this book as it has a lot of NM qualities, but I believe the book likely lands in the 8.5 -9.0 grade range with most grading companies out there. One thing is for Sure...... Along with its marked Joe Sarno Comic Kingdom history and its outstanding Like New Appearance and Presentation, the book is a very desirable addition to ANY comic book collection.
The store known as Comic Kingdom in Chicago was a pioneering comic book shop owned by Joe Sarno.
History of Comic Kingdom
EARLY DAYS:: Joe Sarno started "The Fantasy Collectors of Chicago" in his basement in the late 1960s, which was a hub for collectors to trade and sell comics.
STOREFRONT: This club evolved into a full-time store, first renamed "The Nostalgia Shop" and later "Comic Kingdom," operating from various locations including on Lawrence and Irving Park Avenues.
CLOSURE: Due to health issues, Sarno closed the physical stores in 2003 and shifted operations to an internet-based business, Joe Sarno's Comic Universe. Sarno passed away in 2010.
* Flat spine with clean tight staples (Some tiny ticks)
* Nice Original Cover Color and Gloss with Very Minimal surface wear (No Creases)
* Nice Cover wrap
* Solid Corners & Edge with minor wear right side
* Beautiful White Page Quality
* Book Is Complete With NO: Cut Outs, Writing, Stains or Creases (Comic Kingdom Stamp on Last Page)
