As a 40 year serious collector I have acquired a vast inventory of most major Marvel and DC titles, as well as many Independents, Graphic Novels, Trades and hard Cover books. I believe my grading to be conservative and based on one THING, Can the book pull the said grade from Third Party Graders Like CGC, and CBCS. Ive submitted many books for grading and I have also cracked out plenty of CGC and CBCS books for my personal collection over the years. The time has come for me to start selling my treasured High Grade Captain America collection. As a life long collector of high grade comic books I completed this Captain America Run, Yes ALL 454 issues. It took me a little over 10 years to complete the entire run in the higher grades I was looking for. Some were cracked out from CGC / CBCS slabs. I will be listing more high grade Silver Age Cap books as time allows.

All the books I will be listing are Original unaltered books. None have ever been pressed or altered in any way.

* "Power to the People" Double-Sized issue. Script by Gary Friedrich. Art by John Romita Sr. Cover by John Romita Sr. (pencils & inks). Leila Taylor invites Sam Wilson to attend a rally in Harlem -- sponsored by a group called the people's Militia. Reluctantly, Sam agrees to go with her.However once there, he's taken aback by the speakers at the rally...who are wearing masks and spewing hate! Unfortunately, the group's call for violence is answered, and rioting begins in the streets! The Sentinel of Liberty and the Falcon try to halt the civil unrest, but soon realize they must focus on the leader of the People's Militia instead. And the leader so happens to be an expert on hate: the Red Skull. Godspeed to Cap and the Falcon! Appearances by Nick Fury, Dum Dum Dugan, Brian Muldoon, Sharon Carter, and Redwing. (Notes: The Red Skull previously appeared in Astonishing Tales (1970) #4 and #5. The Falcon's new costume is previewed in the cover logo. It will debut next issue. The letters page includes a short essay explaining the cover price increase to 25¢.) 52 pages. Cover price $0.25.

* Arguably one of the greatest story Lines in Marvel comics history, The "Power to the People" still holds up to this day. This double size Captain American issue is in breath taking condition. It features Like New Quality with VERY minimal to no wear, mainly some minor spine and light wear on bottom right corner. The book exhibits beautiful Like New cover color and gloss with a virtually flawless surface (No Creases) The book is sporting a perfect cover wrap giving it outstanding eye appeal. the interior is complete with flawless white page quality, NO: Cut outs, Writing, stains, etc... I believe to book could possibly be a 9.2 NM candidate on any given day. Tough call, but I'll play it conservative and go with a solid 8.5 -9.0 on this beautiful bronze age book. One thing is for sure......Your not finding a nicer copy of this book out in the wild any time soon....... Not on this planet!
