ARGOSY, ADVENTURE, and BLUEBOOK were long running pulp titles that changed their format but continued their numbering system. They were very successful with the new format and many new titles followed. The covers are usually terrific and have a PULP or COMIC BOOK quality. Cover features are often: Action, War, Jungle, Western, Weird Menace, Torture, Oriental Villains, Germans in WWII, Good Girl Art, and/or any combination of the above. Issues often contain lots of spicy interior artwork, cheesecake photos, and bizarre exploitation stories.
