BETTY BOOP'S "Hollywood Chronicles" (King 1990) Max Fleischer 1934-1937 Comic Strips 1st Printing. Almost from the moment she sprang to life from Max Fleischer's pen, Betty Boop was a star. The saucer-eyed, bob-haired flapper appeared in over 100 cartoons in the 1930's and more recently in two animated tv specials, produced by King Features. Demand for Betty was so great, King syndicated a comic strip from 1934-1937, so fans could follow Hollywood adventures every day. With a career spanning 60 years (and still going strong) the glamorous "Boop-oop-a-doop" girl is a true Hollywood legend. Softcover, 8" x 5" horizontal format, B&W.
