Aster was a four-issue limited series published by Entity Comics from 1994 to 1995. It was a science-fiction spin-off of the comic series Harriers, also by Entity. The title is significant as one of the first Filipino-created comic books published in the U.S. Included notable creators like Jae Lee (issue #1) and Joe Quesada and Jimmy Palmiotti (issue #2).
The story follows Aster, the last of the Celestial Knights, a race of universal peacekeepers. After a battle with the rogue Celestial Guardian Dessa, both Aster and Dessa become trapped on a planet known as Prison World. Aster, suffering from amnesia, is nursed back to health by the indigenous Mountsmen and begins his quest to find the powerful Gem of Saghal. He must find the gem before Dessa does, with the fate of Prison World hanging in the balance.
