I was hooked on ARCHIE'S MAD HOUSE when I was a pre-teen . . . being too old for kiddie comics, maybe not old enough for MAD MAGAZINE!  This was the ARCHIE answer to teen-age snarkyness and weird humor at a time that it must have seemed like teens were ruling the media!

Here are 36 pages of rapid-fire spoofs, goofs, satire, and random silliness, all in innocent good fun (as the ARCHIE UNIVERSE presented itself). Archie, Jughead and Veronica present the lead story, "HOW TO BECOME A TEENAGE ROCK 'N ROLL SINGER", obviously playing off the meteoric rise of Elvis Presley at the time.

After that, things devolve mainly into more craziness, in features like "The Mad House Hall of Fame", "Aunt Juggie's Advice to the Lovelorn", "The Discovery of Hair" and "Beatniks Through History"!

Several artists and their varying style are present, including Tom Moore, Bob White, Samm Schwartz and the great Orlando Busino!

This is a pretty nice copy -  flexible pages, good color, minor toning, but with a tiny 3/8" tear and some wrinkles on the front cover.  What's that you say, Mr. Overstreet? - $14.??!?  uh . . how 'bout we make it $7!  And we'll throw in really cheap shipping, to boot!
