STEVE DITKO, the creator and main artist for Spider-Man comics since 1962, handles both pencils and inks for AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #13, the first appearance of the strange villain MYSTERIO!

In "The Menace of Mysterio!", Mysterio first frames Spider-Man for a crime wave, then challenges him to a battle on top of the Brooklyn Bridge.

This is a pretty well-read but clean copy of SPIDER-MAN #13, with rather ragged edges and a splayed, but holding spine. The pages have normal toning, but no foxing. The back cover is in rough shape, and there is a bit of ballpoint pen handwriting at the top of the splash page. But nothing effects Ditko's fun and energetic artwork. Overstreet prices this issue in a grade of 4.0VG at $300 . . .  but we think it looks more like a $275, and that gives you this issue at far and away the best price on HipComic!  (And our FREE shipping is another good reason to take this Spidey home!)
