Alter Ego by young fans Roy Thomas and Jerry Bails was one of the very first "fanzines" of the 1960's, Many decades later, Alter Ego became its own magazine again in 1999, again with Thomas as editor, and formatted as a glossy magazine. It has been published by TwoMorrows Publishing. FCA, the Fawcett Collectors of America fanzine, is published as part of each issue of Alter Ego. Note: All physical back issues are SOLD OUT from the publisher, with only downloadable electronic versions available for purchase.

Alter Ego #161 (November 2019) - a full-issue tribute to Stan (The Man) Lee and his contributions to comics! Roy Thomas writes on his more than 50-year relationship with Stan!
