'ALIENS' was a line of several licensed comic books set in the fictional universe of the FOX studio's ALIENS films, published by DARK HORSE COMICS from 1988 forward. Originally just a sequel to James Cameron's 1986 film ALIENS, later series stories are unique to the ALIEN universe and are often used to explore other aspects of the species, such as their sociology and biology. 

Here is the 1994 one-shot, ALIENS: EARTH ANGEL, written and illustrated by John Byrne.  It details the tumult, horror and death caused by the crash of a space craft in a small rural town, and the havoc that ensues when the ALIENS overrun the citizens, a gang of bikers,  . . and the family of Dr. Dan RIPLEY!!

John Byrne inks his own pencils and the action is non-stop!  He also created  the impressive wrap-around cover!
