By the time ADVENTURE COMICS #336 rolled around in 1965, it had pretty much become " THE LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES GUEST-STARRING SUPERBOY"!  The focus on the vast cast of 30th century teens with wild but narrow powers attracted quite a following at the time, and SUPERBOY played something of a supporting role in the comic that had once been undeniably HIS!

In issue #35 a strange super villain named STARFINGER (because 5 different destructive forces emanated from each of his fingers) had terrorized life in the 30th century and the LEGION had done their best to foil him.  But here in #336 he was still on a rampage and the LEGION switched to trickery to lure him out and capture him.  And that led to the shocking realization that Starfinger was one of there own members!!  John Forte had his hands full pencilling this tale and keeping 13 different LEGIONNAIRES in line!

In the second story, legend Curt Swan pencils "The Sixth Clark Kent" as SUPERBOY searches far and wide for a different Clark Kent who stands to get a million-dollar bequest from a millionaire's will! ( a 'Hall of Fame Classic' from SUPERBOY #54 from 1957!)

This is a terrific-looking copy of one of DC's biggest 1965 sellers. It's in great shape for being 56 years old, with a strong binding, minimal toning, and no readily-visible faults or blemishes other than the tiniest missing cover corner and some ragged edged pages.  We grade it a solid 6.5 FN+. Overstreet values it at $24 . . . but we're pricing it at only $13 . . with our always-L•O•W shipping!
