As a 40 year serious collector I have acquired a vast inventory of most major Marvel and DC titles, as well as many Independants, Graphic Novels, Trades and hard Cover books. I believe my grading to be conserative and based on one THING, Can the book pull the said grade from Third Party Graders Like CGC, and CBCS. Ive submitted many books for grading and I have also cracked out plenty of CGC and CBCS books for my personal collection over the years. I will securely and promptly ship all orders and will be more than happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I will continue adding more comics, cards and books to my store here. Thank You for stopping by for a look.
Cover pencils by Ed Hannigan (layouts) and Curt Swan (as Swanderson), inks by Murphy Anderson (as Swanderson). "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?", script by Alan Moore, pencils by Curt Swan, inks by Kurt Schaffenberger and Murphy Anderson (uncredited); Lois continues to relate how when Superman was holed up in the Fortress with his closest friends, being attacked by Brainiac (having taken over Luthor's body), the Kryptonite Man, and the Legion of Super-Villains, he realized who the mastermind behind it all was, and called on Mr. Mxyzptlk to show himself; Just as Superman sent Mxyzptlk into the Phantom Zone, Mxy fled to his own dimension, tearing himself apart; Having taken a life, Superman exposed himself to gold kryptonite and retired. Legendary story continued from Superman #423. Superman in Action article by E. Nelson Bridwell; The history of Superman in Action Comics.
Tough call on this one. Book is Very structurally sound. Looks like some moisture wrinkles on the top half by the "Action Comics" area. The book retains very nice cover color, but has some warping. Im going to call it a 5.0
* Nice spine with clean tight staples
* Good cover color and gloss with wrinkles and slight warping on top half of cover
* Pretty solid edges and corners with very minimal wear
* Beautiful White Page quality
* Book Is Complete With NO: Cut Outs, Writing, Rips or Stains
