AMALGAM COMICS was a clever and creative undertaking shared by DC Comics and Marvel Comics, in which the two comic book publishers merged their characters into new ones (e.g., DC Comics' Batman and Marvel Comics' Wolverine became the Amalgam character Dark Claw). These characters first appeared in a series of 12 comic books which were published in April 1996, between issues #3-4 of the DC vs. Marvel miniseries. A second set of 12 comic books followed one year later in June 1997 -  and these three issues are part of that second flourishing. 

In 'DARK CLAW ADVENTURES' #1, using the style of the animated Batman Adventures, Talia takes vengeance on Dark Claw (who is a hybrid of Batman and Wolverine) for killing her father. Ty Templeton  and Rick Burchett do a stylish, clean job with the art.

In 'BAT THING' #1, a mash-up of ManBat and Man-Thing, Bill Sienkiewicz inks Rodolfo Damaggio in a horrific tale of vengeance.

And in 'LOBO the DUCK' #1, we'll let you guess which two characters were merged here ,the lunatic talking fowl dispenses carnage and mayhem wherever he waddles!
