This is an INSANELY RARE FIND! UNAUTHORIZED COMICS #1! This fan made comic was produced four years after the 1st DC/MARVEL team up (SUPERMAN VS SPIDERMAN)!When Marvel and DC published the special Superman vs Spider-Man: The battle of the century a group of fans began to imagine a new meeting involving their favorite heroes, united by the common passion Americans John G. Pierce, Mike Kuypers, Gino Membrino and Brazilian Jose Jefferson knew only by correspondence, initiated in 1980 a project for publication of Unauthorized Comics series under the seal of the Whiz Kids created by the group.Since it was a limited edition publication was established independently and without commercial sale in order not to have legal problems.Kuypers and Membrino roteirizavam while Pierce and Jefferson were editing, Jefferson and manage the contacts between the group, invited Emir Ribeiro to draw any issue.The plot began with Robin finding the unconscious body of Captain America without his shield, then Batman joins Nick Fury to try to unravel the theft and who would have been the aggressor in an investigation involving several other heroes.Twenty pages, color cover and core black and white and a hundred copies printed, of which fifty were sent directly to the US, while the rest would be distributed by Jefferson, which never happened because he had a sudden health problem which led to surgery and eventually died during the postoperative period.Emir had received only part of the amount to be paid with the graphic that had printed the magazine, and not wanting to look Jefferson relatives to collect the remaining amount, he used the contacts he already had the distribution of their fanzines, to disclose the asking magazine each player a donation without fixed amount in exchange for a copy thus achieving pay the commitment to the graphic.Jefferson sudden death turned out to discourage a second edition with the conclusion of the story, which remains open to this day.At present, there are MAYBE 5 copies in existence! I took pics of all the pages and have included a few for viewing.
