The Maelstrom, the immense and legendary ocean vortex off Norway that swallows ships and vessels, is only the first of the terrible dangers that await the pursuers of Professor Richter. Volume Description

Zagor was the first regular publication in the standard Sergio Bonelli Editore format (21 x 16 cm) dedicated to the popular eponymous hero.

It was originally published under the "Collana Zenith" volume, that, from issue #52, changed its name to "Zagor" . So the issues have a "double" numbering: Zagor #1 is also Zenith #52, Zagor #2 is also Zenith #53, and so on.

The fist 68 issues (under the "Zagor" numbering) contain stories previously published in strips. From issue #68 they are all unpublished stories.
