Issue Description
The mummy of the ancient Sumerian king Dumizi, donated by Professor Dexter Green to the Museum of Richmond, is not a simple archaeological find. For the followers of the cult of Namtar, its removal from the temple in which it reposed is a sacrilege to be avenged with blood. Among the various enemies that Zagor , Cico and Bat Batterton will face, there are also an archeologist rival Green, Professor Richter, interested in a tiara with sinister powers and that was part of the funeral, and Velasquez, a Mexican adventurer.
Zagor (1965)
- Publisher
- Sergio Bonelli Editore
Volume Description
Zagor was the first regular publication in the standard Sergio Bonelli Editore format (21 x 16 cm) dedicated to the popular eponymous hero.
It was originally published under the "Collana Zenith" volume, that, from issue #52, changed its name to "Zagor" . So the issues have a "double" numbering: Zagor #1 is also Zenith #52, Zagor #2 is also Zenith #53, and so on.
The fist 68 issues (under the "Zagor" numbering) contain stories previously published in strips. From issue #68 they are all unpublished stories.
All covers were drawn by Gallieno Ferri.
