The U.S. Government is suspicious of Professor Xavier's motives, so it sets a plan in motion to be prepared for any X-Men-related contingency. "NEW MUTANTS" will introduce several brand-new additions to the cast, including Warren Worthington III ? the ANGEL, and punk musician the DAZZLER!

A new student is enrolled into Xavier's Institute for Higher Learning, one Warren Worthington III.

Warren's angelic appearance causes some concern among the students. And when the world outside learns of his presence there, there are demonstrations at the school's gates. Warren flees the grounds, not wanting to perpetuate the circus that his arrival has caused.

Storm is sent after him and they discuss their personal experiences and the philosophy behind the X-Men.
