The team of Ultimate heroes get's another round when the team faces a death and fight against the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. This serie was preceded by The Ultimates and The Ultimates 2. This time the Avengers of the Ultimate Universe are brought to you by Jeph Loeb and Joe Madureira. It lasted for a total of 5 issues. This series is also a prelude to the Ultimatum mini-series. After that mini-series, the Ultimates where somewhat replaced by the Ultimate Avengers series.
