On the run after escaping Rikers Island, a disfigured and weak Punisher must seek out Micro for medical help. But Kingpin's men are waiting for Frank to return to his safe house.
This issue features two pin-ups. The first pin-up is by Ed Lazellari and Bud LaRosa, featuring Punisher and the Reavers. The second pin-up is by Mark Bagley and Donald Hudson.

Volume Description
This is the first ongoing comic book series starring the fictional Marvel Comics vigilante The Punisher, following a limited series published the previous year. It lasted for 104 issues after witch this title, as well as Punisher's other two comics Punisher: War Journal and Punisher: War Zone, where cancelled and merged into Punisher Volume 3.
This series also spawned seven annuals, as well as the annuals The Punisher Summer Special #1-4 , The Punisher: Back to School Special #1-3 and The Punisher Holiday Special #1-3.
