Punisher must reluctantly work for the Kingpin, who has kidnapped Micro in an attempt to coerce Punisher into helping him shut down a rival drug producer, Howard Nees. With Frank's apartment is invaded and destroyed, he is left with no choice but to confront Nees' men head-on.

Volume Description
This is the first ongoing comic book series starring the fictional Marvel Comics vigilante The Punisher, following a limited series published the previous year. It lasted for 104 issues after witch this title, as well as Punisher's other two comics Punisher: War Journal and Punisher: War Zone, where cancelled and merged into Punisher Volume 3.
This series also spawned seven annuals, as well as the annuals The Punisher Summer Special #1-4 , The Punisher: Back to School Special #1-3 and The Punisher Holiday Special #1-3.
