Issue Description

Frank Castle infiltrates a high school after finding evidence the Kingpin is supporting a network of school gangs. Posing as a substitute teacher, Punisher must sort out friends versus enemies in a school that has more problems than just rival gangs. When a plot is uncovered to blow up the school by Libyan terrorists, Punisher must act quickly to settle things down before the violence escalates.

This is the first ongoing comic book series starring the fictional Marvel Comics vigilante The Punisher, following a limited series published the previous year. It lasted for 104 issues after witch this title, as well as Punisher's other two comics Punisher: War Journal and Punisher: War Zone, where cancelled and merged into Punisher Volume 3.

This series also spawned seven annuals, as well as the annuals The Punisher Summer Special #1-4 , The Punisher: Back to School Special #1-3 and The Punisher Holiday Special #1-3.
