One minute before the execution, the convicted criminal dies -- of poisoning -- in the electric chair! Amid a prison full of rioting convicts, Jen and Gabe struggle to solve the mystery of the poisoner... if they survive that long!

Created by Mike Barr, The Maze Agency comic was notable for presenting "fair play" mysteries; each individual comic included a crime, usually a murder, for the two leads to solve, with all the clues necessary to solve the case being given to the reader, allowing them a chance to figure out the murderer's identity before the detectives revealed it in the final pages of the issue.
