The Hulk takes a stroll through the streets of Vegas, looking for some trouble...
As Mr. Fixit watches a dog fight he intervenes to end it, killing the more aggressive dog and saving the weaker one from death. He's then attacked by the owner and several of the onlookers, but easily defeats them while actively declaring he needs a better challenge. He's then informed of a bar where plenty of tough bikers hang out and leaps off to meet this challenge, while elsewhere Glorian is sent back to Las Vegas by the Shaper of Wolds as he continues in his quest to bring nobility to the Hulk.Once he returns he is met by a man in a limo who offers him the opportunity to meet his boss who has a deal for him, while Fixit arrives at Finnigan's bar and begins shouting Biker's are wimps angering the patrons. He then easily beats the assembled ones when the old man appears to tell him the toughest people in Vegas are at Tad's gym, which Hulk quickly departs for.

Volume Description
Continued from Tales to Astonish Vol.1 which was originally one of several anthology comics published by Marvel in the 1960's featuring one-shot monsters in their own tales. Over the years the series began to focus more upon some of the anti-heroes still famous to this day such as the Sub-Mariner and The Incredible Hulk. That is why, after 101 issues, that series changed its name to The Incredible Hulk with issue #102. Under this new name the series lasted thirty more years until it finally concluded with issue #474. The series was then revamped with a new number one and a new title, simply called Hulk (1998).
Although it started out as Tales to Astonish, this is actually the second volume to be entitled "The Incredible Hulk", the first, The Incredible Hulk (1962), having begun publication six years earlier, although it only lasted six issues.
