Issue Description
Featuring the origin and first appearances of the Silver Age Hawkman and Hawkgirl. Katar Hol and his wife Shayera are Thanagarian police officers who are sent to earth in order to study earth police methods. They are followed to earth by Byth, the creature of a thousand shapes. Using a combination of ancient and futuristic weapons, the Winged Wonders have to find a way to overcome this threat to Earth. Taking on the secret identities of Carter and Shiera Hall, the duo become curators of the Midway City museum and use that as their base.

Volume Description
Brave and the Bold was started in 1955 and was canceled in 1983, lasting 200 Issues. Whilst it started out as a triple-feature for The Silent Knight, The Viking Prince and Robin Hood, the most consistent theme for the series was team ups by two heroes from the DC Universe with the majority being Batman team-ups.
