Issue Description

The Zodiac holds the entire city of New York ransom for one billion dollars, (1970, folks), and the Avengers must call in back-up. Only two heroes are left to save the day; famed attorney Matt Murdock and Black Panther!

Aries attacks Manhattan with his Zodiac soldiers, holding it for ransom for a billion dollars. Spider-Man is unable to help because he must attend to his Aunt May. The Fantastic Four are unfortunately out of the state when the attack occurs. That leaves the Avengers and Daredevil to fight back, which they do. When Aries realizes that he can't battle the combined might of the Avengers and Daredevil, he flees and leaves his soldiers behind. The Avengers realize that Cornelius Van Lunt funded Aries and the Zodiac soldiers, allowing them to be trained on his ranch, which caused a direct conflict with the Native American superhero, Red Wolf. Daredevil leaves the Avengers with some meaningful advice.
