Issue Description

When the Avengers agree to help Arkon, a deadly turn may force one of the Avengers into becoming a killer as well?

In order to save a young girl from being a human sacrifice, the Avengers take drastic and dangerous measures to siphon off the energy output of the rings that threaten to burn away all life on the planet of Polemachus. Their success is met with tragedy due to the superstitions of some overzealous residents of the planet, and they can only watch as Sersi's deadly wrath is unleashed.

Back on Earth, Jarvis and Marilla run across Taylor Madison, finding the woman deeply upset for reasons unknown, and the Gatherers return from an alternate reality with a dangerous new recruit.
