Spoilers
We start of in a dark sewer where Spider-Man is confused and was hung upside down by a woman and she stated that she's the girl who is going to kill Spider-Man. We they go two weeks earlier where Spider-Man and Daredevil are working together to defeat Fracture. Spider-Man uses his webs to hold Fracture in place, then he kicks him in the face and webs his eyes up so that he couldn't see what was happening but Fracture breaks out of the webbing but as soon as he does that, he is kicked in the face once more but by Daredevil. We learn that Fracture was trying to demolish a construction site to collect on the insurance and we also learn that someone was using night-vision watching over Spider-Man. Fracture then breaks the construction site into little dried up pieces and the whole construction site falls. Spider-Man uses his webs to stop the pieces falling and while he was doing that, Daredevil throws his club at Fracture causing him to fall unconcious into a pit of cement. It was revealed that the person watching over them was a woman and she followed Spider-Man into his apartment but then she returned to her home and planned what she will do to Peter Parker/ Spider-Man.
We then go one week later early in the morning and Peter Parker is in a comic book store sorting out comics. The other worker there, Mike, asks him if he reads any comics but then Peter said that comics remind him of work, Mike then tells Peter to read some X-Men but Peter said that he was not a X-Men fan because he doesn't get along with a lot of them. Peter Parker's spider-sense then started tingling and he dived and told Mike to get down as a bullet shoots right through the shop and comics. We then see who the sniper was and it was the same woman who was watching and following Peter Parker, she started shooting arrows from her crossbow and Peter carried Mike and jumped out of the shop from the window. The sniper still doesn't give up so Peter and Mike take cover in the subway station. Mike asks why Peter was being shot at, Peter says that he has a secret and tells Mike that he's not who Mike thought he was and Peter said that he was a skrull. Mike was scared and he ran off. We then go one week later in the Fifth Precinct and we learn that Vin was framed for shooting a drug dealer but until the real murderer was found, Vin will be on a suspension.
A man then goes to Peter Parker's apartment and Peter Parker then learns that someone was suing Spider-Man. We then go back to Vin and he gets ran over by a car and his head was bleeding after that, one of the pedestrian then asks if Vin was okay and Vin said that he was okay. The next day, Vin was in a bar playing pool with Harry Osborn as Peter Parker walked in, Vin told Peter that he has been having a lot of bad luck lately from being framed to being a victim of identity theft. Vin returns home and he was attacked by the woman and she told him to wear the Spider-Man costume believing that Vin was Peter Parker. We now go back to present time and the woman releases the chain that is holding "Spider-Man" upside down and then she unmasks "Spider-Man".

Volume Description
After the success of Amazing Fantasy #15 (Aug. 1962) a few months later the same creative team came back to start an ongoing series focusing on the character the two of them created.
The book's run continued until issue number 441 (Nov. 1998) when Marvel relaunched the title as Amazing Spider-Man Volume 2 with a new number 1 in January 1999. After issue #30 (#471) Marvel used a dual numbering system, yet the indicia still stated The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 2. On the title's 40th anniversary the numbering was reverted to go from issue 58 to issue 500 (Dec. 2003) as The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1.
This volume ends with #700 and is picked up by the Marvel Now! revolution volume Superior Spider-Man.
