Kevin Rubio, creator of the hilarious short film Troops, lends his bit of craziness to this month's Tales. Lovern Kindzierski and fan-favorite Doug Wheatley (Aliens: Apocalypse) team up to spin a yarn. And Kilian Plunkett's comical "Sandblasted " follows up on the acclaimed adventures of Jabba the Hutt's nefarious swoop thugs, Big Gizz and Spiker, who encounter a dark trooper in the ruins of Tatooine's Podracing arena. The trooper is malfunctioning, but its weapons systems are still fully functional! Mayhem ensues.

It is based on the premise that what you are reading are actually comic versions of holo rentals found in Peeja Mobet's Holo Emporium. As the comics are supposed to be 'movie rentals' the proprietor claims that they may or may not be historically accurate.
