In the aftermath of one of the battles of the Clone Wars, a new threat arises: the Jedi discover that someone has placed a bounty on Jedi?the deader, the better. Rather than have his Jedi be targets on and off the battlefield, Mace Windu assembles a team of the toughest Jedi available. Their mission? Explain to the Bounty Hunters Guild, in no uncertain terms, that attacking Jedi is a very, very bad idea.

Volume Description
Star Wars: Republic Volume 1
Star Wars: Repbulic is continued from Dark Horse's Star Wars series, starting with issue 46. The title focuses mainly on the time around Episode II and the Clone Wars. The series lasted until issue 83, after which it was retitled as Star Wars: Dark Times, following the events of Episode III.
That series had a new number 1 and a new title, but the indica still states "Star Wars Republic" and continues to count on from issue 84 and on.
