While out at Cap's base of the Avengers they realize something is in the computer and they track it down and see Deathlok on screen along with Iron Fist. Spider-man then asks everyone to meet him back at Avengers headquarters at five. While Carnage and Shriek have Venom kept up in the Statue of Liberty torturing him, Spider-man returns to MJ. Meanwhile Carnage's "Kids" find Black Cat and Cloak and start fighting them and almost killing them when Cloak teleports Morbius away to safety, leaving the Black Cat behind. She is then saved by Nightwatch, and decides she doesn't want to lose her life over this and heads home.

Volume Description
('Adjectiveless') Spider-Man Volume 1
Todd McFarlane started his own Spider-Man series in the early 1990's and became the newest hit-Spider-man series! Starting with issue 75, the cover becomes "Peter Parker: Spider-Man". Despite the change to the cover, the interior copyright page still shows this volume as being named "Spider-Man", as do succeeding issues in this volume. After the "Final Chapter" crossover, the series ended with issue 98 and restarted after a short hiatus as Peter Parker: Spider-Man with a new number one.
