Issue Description
Humpty Dumpty, Goosey Gander, Dama Trot… Why have the innocent and fanciful characters of nursery rhymes, the children's tales of the English tradition, turned into murderous monsters on the streets of London? Detective Simon Fane, of Scotland Yard, an expert in unusual cases, is put on the case. And suspect number one is the notorious braggart vampire-killer Dean Barrymore, president of the Club of Occult Presences. Dean, together with his colleague Jack Tarrant and the archeologist Matthew Shady, is trying to locate the hideout of Lord Marsden, the London Vampire. When Harlan, Tesla and Kurjak are called to take part in the investigation as well, the vampiresque investigation proceeds by leaps and bounds. Shame, though, that Fane is so interfering… But what do nursery rhymes have to do with a Master of the Night? And why has Fane forgotten about his unhappy childhood at the Morningstar orphanage? What lies concealed in the underground cellars of the Temsek company, in the Thames docklands? And which of little orphan kid Tiny's dreams can open the door to the mysterious house in the forest, where Dama Trot lives?…
