"Temptation" continues as Surfer and Nova are confronted by an ultimate power of the universe - Champion!

Summary
Champion has found Thanos and is planning his revenge. But Thanos is in no mood to deal with him and transported him to a lifeless world. Angry, Champion smashes and destroys the planet, bringing the attention of the Silver Surfer and Nova. Nova accidentally informs the Champion that Drx the Destroyer now possesses the gem. Knowing that Champion will seek him out the Surfer decides to act.

Champion and the Silver Surfer begin their battle. But, Nova retreats when the Surfer asks for her assistance. The soon turn to see Nova has returned, and she brought Drax with her. Drax easily incapicitates the Champion and returns home. Nova removes the Champion's magical wristlets and offers them to the Surfer.

But the Surfer has no interest in more power and destroys the wristlets.
