Issue Description
Wonder Woman finds herself in the past where she helps the Incan people in their battle with the Spanish conquistadores.
"The Woman Who Wanted The World!"Sargon The Sorcerer fails to heed the concerns Max has, regarding a passenger on the subway train. Stepping out onto the street, Sargon the Sorcerer finds himself in a desert. The Blue Lama announces herself in letters of flame, burning across the sky. The letters fall towards Sargon The Sorcerer, becoming flaming lances. Sargon The Sorcerer uses the Ruby Of Life to create a barrier. Suddenly, Sargon The Sorcerer is struck, hard, from behind. Sargon The Sorcerer finds himself sprawled in the street, having just been struck by a passing automobile.
His encounter in the desert, with the Blue Lama, was merely an illusion. Sargon The Sorcerer is loaded into an ambulance, but Max quickly takes a dislike to the emergency medical technicians. Max discovers the ambulance is actually flying, as it carries him, and Sargon The Sorcerer to an underground hangar. There, the Blue Lama confronts Sargon The Sorcerer. The Blue Lama has a number of heroes paralyzed in her "Hall Of Wax". She means to add Sargon the Sorcerer to their number.
Sargon The Sorcerer uses the Ruby Of Life to revive the Blue Lama's victims. They fight, on Sargon The Sorcerer's behalf, against the Blue Lama's minions. The Blue Lama fires a bolt of electricity at Max. Sargon the Sorcerer uses the Ruby of Life to transform Max into a lightning rod. The Blue Lama's electrical attack is reflected back at her, incinerating her. Max chastises Sargon The Sorcerer for ignoring him earlier.
