Issue Description

It's the first appearance of the Mutant X Universe's Cyclops! In the aftermath of the devastating events of issue #12, Havok and little Scotty Summers take some time off for some quality family time. But their vacation is cut short when a group of Skrulls identify Alex's child as a source of almost limitless power, and decide to destroy him! Perhaps Cyclops and his team, the Starjammers, will save the day!

Mutant X Volume 1

This series continued directly from X-Factor Vol.1 and focuses on the adventures of X-Man and former X-Factor leader Alex Summers/Havok as he is cast into an alternate time line with no way of returning to his own. Other key players are Bloodstorm, The Brute, The Fallen, Scotty Summers, Madelyne Pryor and The Goblin Force.

The series was very popular, but was canceled due to the decision of then time president of Marvel Comics, Bill Jemas. He thought that there where too many X-men related books and wanted to thin down the line. Among the cancelled comics where Bishop: the Last X-man, Gambit and Mutant X.

Mutant X had three annuals: 1999, 2000, 2001.
