Volume Description
The Kilroys issue #1 was first published by American Comics Group under their imprint B & I Publishing in 1947.
The Kilroys with the tag line 'America's Funniest Family!' was a comic book version of the family situation comedy that was currently popular on the radio and television at that time. The Kilroy family consisted of: the father J. Edgar Kilroy, his wife Emmy and their children Natch and Katie along with the family dog, Bumpy.
The stories in The Kilroys were aimed at the teen market and featured both the family as a whole and also as individuals. The issue had a comparatively long run ending with the final issue #54 in July 1955.
