Issue Description
Invisible Man
Disgraced British soldier, Nick Ellis, returns from the Falklands War a wounded junkie in need of a job. As the days pass with no hope, Nick descends into a needle-pocked hell just when a new blood disease begins to ravage the streets of London.
The AIDS epidemic hit in the 1980s and has since taken the lives of millions all over the world. A disrespector of class or creed, the disease has cut down some of our brightest lights, just a swiftly as it swept through the poor, misunderstood and forgotten. "Invisible Man" is a tribute to the Queen song of the same name, as well as to the nameless and faceless who suffer as much victims of social ignorance as from this terrible disease.
The most dramatic piece in the collection, "Invisible Man" is the fifth story in KILLER QUEEN, A COMIC ANTHOLOGY inspired by the discography of Queen. Story by James M. Clark; art by Alex Cormack. This download also features a BONUS PAGE from "Lazy Sunday", a KILLER QUEEN mini-series from Josh Hechinger and Cliodhna Ztoical!
