In a purely nostaglic mood, Marcel Kiekeboe buys a comic of Snijboon and Son, an old comic series he used to read as a young boy. He doesn't realize what he has gotten himself into. The sons of the deceased artist are in a bit of a struggle to get their hands on the comic and the Kiekeboes are stuck in the middle. Due to an invention of Nerd, the new boyfriend of Fanny, the family litterally ends up in the comic. And that much color creates much ruckus in the blue-brown world of yesteryears comic.
