For the record this is not a comic book but a pulp magazine that was made up of text stories, there were a few line drawings throughout, but it was not a comic. The author and creator of this Ka-Zar pulp series was Bob Byrd. This pulp magazine has the first story with Ka-Zar (David Rand) which was adapted in Ka-Zar's first comic book appearance in Marvel Comics #1 in 1939 published by Timely Comics.
