In the '90s, a Nuclear incident in Russia hit several nearby town with radiation

While many people living them died of radiation diseases, some of them start to show strange and dangerous power, and a mysterious government organization star to study their power in to a military prison, naming their subject "Speciali" [Special].

Years after, Andreij, one of the Specials is on the run across the world, followed by the armed and dangerous organization called "La Divisione" [The Division].

But how are Andreij, La Divisione and all of the history of the Special, tied to Michele Silenzi, a thirteen-year-old boy living in Trieste, Italy?

While this volume expands and deepens the history of the "Il Ragazzo Invisibile", film of Gabriele Salvatores, it's not a trasposition and doesn't retell the history of the film, but provides more background history, new characters and expands the narrative universe of the film
