Overview

A mysterious robbery in an ancient English mansion sets Hellboy and Abe Sapien on the trail of a saint, a warlock, a demon, an arch duke of Hell, and a gun-wielding monkey. The crown of the Beast of the Apocalypse becomes the main prize in a tale perfectly balancing action and occult suspense. Also this issue: Lobster Johnson, Mignola's new 1930s costumed adventurer, makes his debut in "The Killer in My Skull," written by Mignola, penciled by Matt Smith, and inked by Ryan Sook.

Volume Description

The Hellboy series is published as a series of self-contained but still inter-connected mini-series and one-shots. This mini-series represents issues 15 and 16 in the ongoing Hellboy meta-series. It was preceded by Hellboy: Christmas Special and followed by Hellboy: Conqueror Worm.

Each issue contains a back-up story. In a first for the Hellboy series, these back-up stories actually take place in the Hellboy universe.
