Issue Description
Oliver Queen and Hal Jordan were best friends. Now a pre-Parallax Hal Jordan from the past must team up with his dead friend's son to face the group that killed the original Green Arrow.
Young Hal and Green Arrow Connor hawk bond over their capture by the Eden corps, a bunch of Hippie tree hungers who incidentally had killed Connor's dad, Oliver Queen. One of their captors is Hal's old military test pilot buddy, now turned mercenary named Hardy. We learn why a big shot pilot like Hal ended up working for Feris aircraft after he was honorably discharged from the military test pilot gig because hardy tried to steal their plane and it crashed, he disappeared and Hal was used as scapegoat to explain everything away.
Hardy taunts the guys while the Eden Corps get ready to bomb Oliver Queen's city with the guys still attached to the Bomb. Hardy has Hal's ring which he plans to sell to the highest bidder once its all over. He's working with the Eden corp for money. In the end the guys go free get back the ring, stop the bombing and reminiscence in front of Oliver Queen's grave. Hal is duly sad as he wasn't even given the chance to bond with Oli since he's from BEFORE they were friends.
