Overview

With The Femforce giantess Tara down and out, it is Synn who saves the day. Finally beginning to master her fluctuating mental abilities, she uses her vast powers to return The Claw to his fictional existance in a comic book, and change eveything back to normal, just in time for the new gang to move into the new FF headquarters. Thanks to Synn's superior work as P.R. director, their image has never been better, so when she schedules the gang to appear at a charity fashion show, of course they go. When the mysterious sponsor for the urban renewal project, Vonn Ferris, has Dr. Myla Chang as his date at the event, the FF get suspicious. But when a terrrifying fire spirit crashes the show and calls him a murderer; well something is definitely up. "Up From The Ashes" is written by Bill Black, drawn by Black and Brad Gorby, and inked by Mark Heike. It features the origin and first appearance of Firebeam, and guest stars Reddevil, Crimebuster, Squeeks, Captain Freedom, Riot O'Rourke, Fangirl, Bill Clinton, "Gadjets" Galtrey, General Strock, Videxx, Rayda, Garganta, Colt, Popsie-Popp and Manga Synn, Scarlet Scorpion, Iron Jaw, and Gerald Rosenblum, and opens with a Tara GTS scene. Color cover by Brad Gorby and Mark Heike, interiors are black and white with graytones. Standard comic book format.
