The team's happy reunion is soon interrupted by Mole Man! Plus, will Reed and Sue finally settle on a name for Baby Richards?

This issue is perhaps as reknown for that rarity - a Kirby artistic blunder - as it is for the story it tells. (On the splash page Reed's left hand is attached to his right arm!). Following the arrival of their new born son Frankilin, the Fantastic Four go house hunting.

The particular house the team come across is secluded, but suspicious. Unknown to Reed and Sue the property belongs to one of their enemies - and its only when our heroes have bought the property that they realise things inside the house are mysteriously attacking them. Whose house have the FF stumbled into - and who will it belong to when the battle is over? (presuming its still standing of course!)

The Fantastic Four were created in response to DC's Justice League and soon became the Silver Age's premier superhero team. Stan Lee and Jack Kirby collaborated on the opening 102 issues of the magazine, and told the adventures of Mr. Fantastic, the Thing, Invisible Woman and the Human Torch. This first volume ran through issue #416, before it was rebooted as Fantastic Four (vol. 2) (13 issues) as part of the short lived Heroes Reborn arc. The series was restarted again with issue 1 in Fantastic Four (vol. 3) before it reverted back to the original numbering with issue #500.
