Excalibur takes a night to themselves and heads to a near-by pub to unwind. Pete Wisdom and Kitty Pryde reveal their relationship to the rest of the team, and a familiar face appears at the end of the issue.

After the X-Men seemingly died during the Fall of the Mutants, X-Men's Kitty Pryde and Nightcrawler teamed up with Captain Britain and Megan to save Rachel Grey and soon formed the British superhero team Excalibur! Excalibur was created by Chris Claremont and Alan Davis. Excalibur started in Excalibur Special Edition before they got their own monthly series.

The series lasted for 125 issues after witch the team disbanned and Colossus, Nightcrawler and Kitty Pryde returned to the X-Men.
