Issue Description

Pete Wisdom is being tortured on capture by a telepathic torturer while Kitty Pryde unearths a series of alien specimens hidden within Black Air to battle the Uncreated . Elsewhere, the remaining Excalibur team attempt to study the Legacy Virus with Warlock's trans-mode virus and question the fate of the future Ahab.

After the X-Men seemingly died during the Fall of the Mutants, X-Men's Kitty Pryde and Nightcrawler teamed up with Captain Britain and Megan to save Rachel Grey and soon formed the British superhero team Excalibur! Excalibur was created by Chris Claremont and Alan Davis. Excalibur started in Excalibur Special Edition before they got their own monthly series.

The series lasted for 125 issues after witch the team disbanned and Colossus, Nightcrawler and Kitty Pryde returned to the X-Men.
