Issue Description
The Soulsword was the consummate expression of Illyana Rasputin's arcane might. When she succumbed to the Legacy Virus, the Soulsword bonded to her best friend, Kitty Pryde. Now, Kitty is being driven insane by the weapon, and her friends in Excalibur search for a way to help her. Meanwhile, two new foes enter the fray, both with agendas all their own.

Volume Description
After the X-Men seemingly died during the Fall of the Mutants, X-Men's Kitty Pryde and Nightcrawler teamed up with Captain Britain and Megan to save Rachel Grey and soon formed the British superhero team Excalibur! Excalibur was created by Chris Claremont and Alan Davis. Excalibur started in Excalibur Special Edition before they got their own monthly series.
The series lasted for 125 issues after witch the team disbanned and Colossus, Nightcrawler and Kitty Pryde returned to the X-Men.
