The team gets a rude welcome in New York City- inanimate objects are running amok and the Empire State Building appears to be…growing?
Phoenix woke from a terrible dream. It transpired that her baby brother, whom she shared a psychic link with, was in trouble. Alarmed by this she burst out of the team's Lighthouse in order to rescue her brother Nathan. The rest of the team woke to find Phoenix gone, leaving Kitty to explain the link between the siblings. Soon the team rushed off to Phoenix's aid, all the way in New York.
Meanwhile the organization W.H.O. met with the policeman Dai Thomas. They discussed a very weird happening involving Moira MacTaggert and Callisto.
Back in New York Phoenix is having tremendous trouble. On approach she was attacked by goblins. Her team-mates were also dramatically affected, but mainly Meggan who was brought to the edge of tears by her Captain Britain's behaviour.
